Skylanders fans can now connect their favourite figurines to iOS devices using a fresh app game and accessory.

The Skylanders Battlegrounds Starter Pack launches at retail on November 22nd, which includes a wireless Portal of Power, a digital download code, a Platinum Treasure Chest featuring digital items, and three figures: Jet Vac, Series 2 Cynder and Double Trouble.

Users can connect the Portal of Power to their iOS device, meaning they can now play the new Skylanders Battlegrounds action RPG game on their iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

They can also use their current Skylanders and Skylanders Giants figures to play as their favourite characters on Skylanders Battlegrounds.

Battlegrounds is also available as a standalone app, as well as the retail Starter Pack.

The game features episodic content, starting with 20 levels and two 'mega bosses' on release. Additional content updates will be free.

Meanwhile, Skylanders Lost Islands, a fresh character and resource management game, 'gives Portal Masters a chance to rebuild and customise their own slice of the Skylands'. Players can play with their Skylanders by sending them off on quests and adventures.

Finally, Activision says Skylanders Cloud Patrol "continues to build momentum as a top casual title on iOS, with a massive new update that introduces an all-new social multiplayer Daily Showdowns mode."
