LEGO to launch largest Minecraft build to date this June

LEGO is expanding its popular Minecraft universe with the launch of its biggest set based on the hit videogame to date.

The 1600 piece set will based on the Minecraft Village andwill feature a rain forest, snow and desert biomes as well as a watchtower, library, blacksmith, butcher and marketplace as found in the game.

LEGO’s Minecraft The Village set also comes with a cast of different mini-figures such as Steve. Alex, zombie and zombie villager as well as Creeper, enderman, pig, baby pig, iron golem and two villagers: a farmer and a librarian.

The build is designed to combine with other Minecraft sets in the series to allow fans and youngsters to create a compete Minecraft world.

The build will be available to retailers from June 1st this year and carries a price tag of $199.99.
