The interactive teddy won roduct of the Year at the Startups Awards.

The awards ceremony, organised by startups.co.uk, in conjunction with Barclays, took place at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington. Hosted by Adrienne Lawler from Sky News, the prestigious awards celebrated the UK’s most outstanding companies and the people running them.

“it’s a great privelidge to receive this award for iTeddy in recognition of the outstanding work done by our engineers. It was a massive challenge, trying to incorporate modern technology within a toy designed for young children. The engineers had to ensure that we could build numerous features into the toy in order to increase the play value, whilst maintaining ease of use for the target audience. This award is testament to their sheer hard work over the past 2 years.”

“We’re delighted for Imran as this latest award recognises his drive and ambition to make I Teddy a world wide success” states Emma Sherski, Marketing and Licensing Director at Vivid. “We’ve sold I Teddy into 45 territories for this Christmas and early sales indications show that I Teddy is going to become a big hit”!
