The product, which featured on Dragon's Den and made an impact at last year's Toy Fair is in the running for Product of the Year.
The awards organised by startups.co.uk in conjunction with Barclays, showcase 60 finalists across 17 categories, including Green Business of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Online Business of the Year, Women in Business Award and Social Enterprise of the Year, these exceptional businesses demonstrate they have the X factor needed to flourish, despite the ongoing credit crunch.
The Startups Awards is an independent scheme designed to raise awareness of and celebrate, the UK’s best start-up businesses and the people running them. The awards are judged by a panel of entrepreneurs and industry experts including: Simon Calver, CEO LOVEFiLM; Alan Giles, chairman, Fat Face; Chrissie Rucker, founder, The White Company; Rachel Lowe, MD, RTL Games Ltd (and winner of Startups Awards 2006).
Winners of each category will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on Thursday 30th October. They will compete to be named The Barclays Startups Business of the Year and walk away with a £5000 cheque
