UK distributor Flying Toys has revealed that three new Parrot AR. Drone 2.0 Elite Edition Quadricopters will be available in the run up to Christmas.

Controlled via Wi-Fi from a smartphone or tablet, the Elite Edition offers fans a choice of three classic camouflaged styles including sand, snow or jungle liveries.

Each is supplied in its own specially designed printed carton with a distinctive indoor and outdoor hull, plus a pair of black propellers and a pair of customised propellers to compliment the colour scheme.

Featuring a high definition camera with video recording, flight sharing data, a patented piloting mode and a pressure sensor for stability at altitude, the first shipment of the Elite Edition is expected to arrive in the UK at the beginning of November.

With limited availability, the Quadricopter will retail at around £279.99, while Flying Toys will launch the product to the trade at the Spring Fair next year.
