UK distributor Flying Toys is preparing to launch its latest in collectible gadgets, the Silverlit DigiBird.

A collection of interactive, tweeting, table top pets, the animated DigiBirds adopt the mannerisms of real birds with head and beak movements in response to the users whistle.

The DigiBirds feature a choice of 24 pre-set melodies along with a multi-play mode allowing several DigiBirds to sing a chorus together, synchronising to a chosen 'lead bird'.

With twelve to collect, the DigiBirds come complete with three batteries and a finger ring and will retail at £9.99.

The new range will be introduced at Spring Fair 2014 in time for release this summer. An extensive TV campaign is planned to promote the DigiBirds in the run up to Christmas this year.

David Rawlins of Flying Toys, said: "Silverlit has received a brilliant response to its unique new DigiBirds in Hong Kong and we are looking forward to launching these new high profile products to both toy and gift buyers at the Spring Fair."
