A host of celebrities and Skylanders Giants characters celebrated the launch of the game at ZSL London Zoo.

Mums Donna Air and Jasmine Guinness brought along their children to meet the Skylanders Giants, as did Richard Jones from music group The Feeling.

Visitors to the zoo were able to play the new game, take part in a Skylanders Giants inspired treasure hunt and a green screen experience where kids were photographed with the Skylanders.

Giants character Tree Rex was on hand to meet guests, and Dirk, the zoo's resident male Galapagos Tortoise.

Skylanders Giants - the follow-up to last year's hit toy/video game hybrid Skylanders - launched on Friday, October 19th in the UK.
