Sundown Adventureland’s Angry Birds activity area is open today.
Activities in the licensed attraction include animal spring riders, swings, sandpits and a range of climbing towers with slides. There’s also an Angry Birds video game which can be played.
Paul Tomlinson, park manager at Sundown Adventureland, said: "The brand is so well known throughout the world. It’s currently one of the most downloaded games and appeals to all ages – something that was very important for us."
Angry Birds maker Rovio has said the idea behind the attraction is to ‘get people who would normally be sat at home in front of a screen out of the house and engaging in physical activity.’
The owners of the Nottingham theme park for under tens have also said they are looking into making Angry Birds themed rides.
