The first ever range of toys based on Richard Scarry's Busytown brand has made its debut in Toys R Us and FAO Schwarz in the US.

Cookie Jar Entertainment and licensing agent CPLG have teamed with The Bridge Direct for the new line.

The Busytown Deluxe Town Hall play-set is the hero item in the range and includes figures, roadways and play-sets that fit together to recreate the world from the books. Over 18 pieces are included in the set, which also features a DVD of the Busytown Mysteries TV show, and is compatible with other wooden track systems.
