The most popular toy products and retailers during Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the US have been listed.
During the last two weeks of November, nearly 24 million consumers shopped online for toys, a rise of 18 per cent year-on-year, according to market share data released by Kantar Compete and published on Toybook.com.
"A handful of manufacturers appear to have moved quickly to capitalize on Amazon’s success," read a statement from the report.
"Roughly 21 per cent of consumers who shopped for toys on Amazon considered a LEGO product. Fisher-Price, Barbie, and LeapFrog were other big winners on Amazon."
Additionally, 46 per cent of consumers who visit a toy manufacturer’s brand site shopped on Amazon during the last two weeks of November.
