Tots 100 unveils most talked about brands

Blogger forum unveils the brands most talked about on social media sites in the UK.

Lego topped the list, with other toy firms and brands including John Crane, Duplo, Disney, Play-Doh, Power Rangers, Chuggington and Harry Potter also featuring. Retailers including Tesco, John Lewis, Toys R Us, Morrisons, Sainsburys and Boots were in the top 50.

The use of Twitter, Facebook and a blog all helped to raise the profile of top 50 company John Crane, along with a competition run with retailer, Dillons ToyBox and another with Bonusprint and When I Was a Kid.

Head of marketing, Helen Davis, commented: "We've invested a lot of hours into social media and formed excellent relationships; this is testament to our hard work and fantastic that we're now seeing the rewards of our efforts. There is certainly more to come from John Crane."
