The Entertainer targets Sheffield for 93rd UK store

Family run toy chain, The Entertainer is to expand its fleet with a new store opening on The Moor in Sheffield.

The new opening will bring the toy retailer’s total of UK stores to 93 and will boast over 6000 sq. ft. in the latest in toys, games and collectables.

Opening its doors next month, the store will inhabit the old Woolworths building.

Gary Grant, managing director of The Entertainer is excited about the prospects of building its presence in Sheffield.

“Sheffield is the UK’s fourth largest city and we have long wanted to open a new store in this vibrant community and provide a toy shop experience that is missing here,” Grant told The Star.

The Entertainer opened its first shop in 1981 and now grows at an average of one new store a month.
