The Entertainer is expanding once again, this time into its seventh international territory as it prepares to take up residency in Kosovo.

The UK toy retailer has secured a new partnership with the retail start-up Axiom to launch its first retail location in the country amid its premium shopping destination Albi Mall.

Thanks to investments from European Bank, World Bank and other large institutions, Kosovo is undergoing a consumer rejuvenation. Axiom heads, Taulant Rexhepi and Hekuran Neziri spotted a gap in the market for toy retail.

Local customers can now expect to see over 500 exclusive products as well as a selection of big brands such as LOL enter the market.

The Entertainer’s founder and chairman, Gary Grant, said: “The Entertainer is delighted to welcome the Axiom team as new partners. Having recently announced a franchise partnership in Egypt, we are delighted to reveal we are soon to be opening in Kosovo.

“Following the success o the launch, we also want to expand into neighbouring countries such a Macedonia and Albania. 2018 is all about growing our business in Europe and the Far East and we are excited to see what the rest of the year brings.”

The Entertainer currently has 145 shops in the UK plus 20 international stores through its successful partnerships.
