The Entertainer has detailed a new partnership with the leading Egyptian retailer, Arabic Triangle to expand its franchise into the region.

The new partnership will see seven Toy World Egypt stores converted to The Entertainer as well as the opening of a brand new store in the Mall of Egypt this November.

This will ‘provide a great opportunity for two leading toy retailers to bring an exciting new toy retailing concept to Egypt, while responding to the increasing consumer demands for more globally-recognised toys,’ read a statement from the retailer.

Customers will be able to find over 500 exclusive products as well as an increased selection of newer brands like LEGO.

The Entertainer’s founder and chairman, Gary Grant, said: “Egypt has a growing population and we are excited to introduce The Entertainer as a destination for lay to new consumers.

“When it comes to international growth, we’re very ambitious and are already looking at additional launches across Central Europe and South East Asia throughout the rest of the year.

“In addition, we are also expecting to expand with our existing partners across the world.”

Now in its 37 year, The Entertainer currently has 145 shops in the UK as well as 20 internationally. The firm has seen unprecedented growth for six consecutive years and employs more than 1,500 staff across its shops, head office and distribution warehouses.
