The Entertainer has helped raise £100,000 for Bristol Children’s Hospital charity, Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal.

The money was collected from individual customer donations via its digital charity box, Pennies.

Gary Grant, owner of The Entertainer, told South West Business: “We have been working with Pennies for around three years and have been amazed and delighted by the amount of money that can be amassed by donations averaging 29p and the willingness of customers to give.”

The £100,000 raised will now help provide the best care and facilities for thousands of young patients in Bristol and throughout the region.

Helen Haskell, corporate fundraiser at the Grand Appeal, added: “To raise so much money in just a few years and from lots of small donations is fantastic.”
