Thames & Kosmos has agreed a deal to supply its science and technology kits to Toymaster and its members.

UK director Joanna Drage said: “This is an important move for us and we’re excited to be working with Toymaster in 2012. Our product range is extremely strong and we feel that we have a large offering of kits that are ideally suited to these independent retailers and their customers.”

Although Thames & Kosmos will not be exhibiting at Toymaster due to the show being a sell-out, the team will make its way to the Majestic to meet with members.

The fledgling firm has hired two more sales agents – father and son team John and Stuart Nicholas will cover the North of England down to North Wales.

Drage commented: “We are delighted to have John and his incredible wealth of experience on board, he’s a valuable addition to our growing team and we know John is looking forward to the challenge.”

Earlier this month Thames and Kosmos appointed Raymond Nedas and Mark Edwards to cover the south of England.

The company has learned that it’s Fuel Cell Car (pictured) will be demonstrated inside the theatre hub sessions at the Gadget Show Live. The product was named as one of the Gadget Show’s Top Five tech toys at the London Toy Fair.

Thames & Kosmos also supplies its kits to education sector and has just launched a Science Stars competition, where schools can compete to win free kit for their class by uploading videos of their experiments to YouTube.

The company is also hoping to recruit a teen professor to support retail facing activities.
