The exclusive launch of Carte Blanche Group's Join In and Play Tatty Puppy attracted a strong crowd to Hamleys at the weekend, including a host of national media, parent bloggers and celebrities.

The event took place on Sunday, September 8th and saw media attend from the likes of The Sun, Bauer Media, Daily Express, The Telegraph, The Guardian, ITV's This Morning and Heat. Celebrity fans and their children included Natalie Cassidy (pictured), Imogen Thomas and Charlie Condou.

Press were greeted by 101 Tatty Puppies and treated to a complete brand experience with Blue Nose face painting, character appearances, treasure hunts and toy testing stations. Children got the chance to play with products including the latest Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends collectable figures and play-sets from Worlds Aprt, felt craft kits from DoCrafts, puzzles from Ravensburger, sticker kits from Blueprint and the Christmas annual from Pedigree.

Join In and Play Tatty Puppy also showed off its movements and reactions as it interacted with the Blue Nose Friends app.

The latest character webisodes were also unveiled for the first time before airing on the Bin Weevils website later this week.

Catherine Lawrence, brand manager at Carte Blanche, said: "The Hamleys event is just one of a number of marketing events and activities we are running throughout the year to support our Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends brand.

"We've been delighted by the reaction of press and most importantly their children today, demonstrating just how successful the brand can be this Christmas."
