Toyology.tv has recruited Smyths Toys Superstores as the official sponsor of the Outdoor Toy Awards this summer.
The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 11th and will see all outdoor entries being judged by a panel of children.
A board of over 50 children will join a host of high-profile media and industry experts, judging all entries on durability, longevity and value for money as well as overall fun factor.
Awards will be handed to the overall winner, category winners and kids-rate-it recommendations.
The competition will include eight categories including ride on, craft and construct, get active, family play, blasters and flying toys.
This year will also see the addition of two new categories, pre-school and kidult.
Toyology.tv's camera crew will be there to capture and create videos of the event.
