Retailers kick off Christmas toy promotions

Toys R Us, Argos, Asda and more offer discounts ahead of busy sales period.

Several retailers have kicked off Christmas toy promotions in the run up to Christmas.

Toys R Us has released its Christmas Catalogue (pictured), which comes with a £15 coupon for orders over £100.

Argos' 2012 gift guide is out now, and the retailer is asking consumers to donate unwanted toys to Barnardo's, in exchange for a £5 discount on toys.

The Entertainer is currently offering up to 75 per cent off 'top toys' on its website, and is promoting its Christmas gift guide online. 

Supermarket Asda is advertising its Christmas toy sale on TV, while Tesco is running its 'biggest ever' toy sale this month.

Sainsbury's is offering up to half-price off all toys starting from October 24th. The offer ends on November 6th.
