It may be a frostier spring than usual this year but at least the traditional holiday toy sales won't be freezing over this Easter, if key retailers have anything to do with it.
A number of toy specialists, grocers and online stores have put together some major promotions for the Easter period.
The Entertainer has launched its Easter Toy Spectacular, offering up to 25 per cent off selected ranges.
Among the many toys in the sale are children's favourites Lala-Oopsie and Skylanders Giants.
The promotion also features discount prices on new ranges from Barbie Build 'n' Style and Little Tikes.
Toys R Us is getting in the holiday mood with numerous promotions, such as half price Barbie and buy two get a third free on Skylanders Giants.
The retailer is also running two special Easter promotions.
From March 27th until April 9th customers who spend £40 or more in-store or online wil receive a free £10 gift coupon.
Furthermore, from March 25th until April 5th, Toys R Us is giving away Daily Easter Treats.
Each day fans can win a different easter treat through the Toys R Us Facebook page. Prizes already won include a Bunny Playhouse, retailing at £329.99 and a Lexibook Junior Tablet.
Moving on, and until April 9th Argos is running a sale of up to half price on selected top character toys. Included are selected lines from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Moshi Monsters and Peppa Pig.
Tesco is filling Easter with holiday activities and ideas to entertain the whole family, running themed sales on everything from dressing-up outfits to kid's baking equipment.
Alongside numerous toy offers, the retailer is promoting its Easter gifts for under £20 range featuring exciting products from Monopoly to Moshi Monsters.

Joining the supermarket Easter sales battle, Sainsbury's is also running offers on hundreds of toys.
Ranging from one third to 25 per cent off selected products and even half price sales, Sainsbury's offer discounted toys across various sectors.
Climbing frames and trampolines, to Barbie lines and various titles in the LeapFrog collection are all included in the Easter promotion.
Meanwhile, Asda has Easter toy price cuts with numerous sales on plenty of big brands from Hot Wheels to Hasbro.
Firebox, of course, contributes to the Easter themed celebrations with its signature quirkiness with its brand new Jesus Kite.
A traditional style triangular frame, the kite features a large 43-inch image of Jesus and retails at £16.99.
Woolworths is encouraging fancy dress this Easter with dozens of costumes available online at www.woolworths.co.uk, from Skylanders to Snow White.
