Princess Catherine doll close to sell-out

Demand for the limited edition doll has been 'amazing', says supplier, Arklu.

The Princess Catherine doll launched at Hamleys three weeks ago and seven British fashion and design leaders have dressed and accessorised it.

The popular Royal Wedding tie-in retails at £34.95 and sells at Hamleys, Harrods, The Entertainer, Amazon,, Toys ‘R’ Us, Tesco as well as online at

The Princess Catherine Engagement Doll will also be launching this week in the US at FAO Schwarz and Toys R Us in Times Square.

Lucie Follett, a spokesperson for Arklu, the company behind the doll, says the demand for the Princess Catherine Engagement Doll, has been “amazing”.

She added: “We are stunned by the reception of the public in the UK and globally, especially America, to our Princess Catherine Engagement Doll.

"We have now almost sold out of the 10,000 limited edition dolls and if people are still keen to buy one we urge them to do so quickly while stocks

Furthermore, in the week following the launch of the doll, research from Experian showed that online searches for “kate middleton doll” doubled, revealing a huge climb in interest for the toy from UK internet shoppers.

Following the wedding, Arklu will release a Princess Catherine Wedding Doll and a Prince William Doll. A host of British designers and stylists have already pledged their support for the upcoming dolls.
