BargainMax has detailed its plans to shape and grow the online toy retailer’s digital strategy with the appointment of a new head of digital.
The former Ribbles Cycles head of acquisitions Daniel McKay has taken up the role with the digital retail platform where he will ‘utilise his experience to fast-track the brand and increase its presence in the UK toy market.’
“It’s very exciting to join a company as head of digital with as much potential as BargainMax and shape its digital strategy moving into 2019 with a great team already in place,” McKay told ToyNews.
“The company has already made great strides in the past couple of years in a tough industry and it will be leaning on me to bring the name to as many households as possible with adverts in the right place at the right time while improving the customer journey.”
McKay will look to increase the company’s market penetration and grow its presence both in the UK and internationally to “bring even more excitement to the toy industry.”
“BargainMax has already got excellent foundations in place in terms of structure and products, it’s just a case of elevating the brand, utilising as many online channels as possible,” McKay said.
