The retailer already has outlets in Azerbijan and Uzbekistan, with a burgeoning international business, which accounts for around 60 per cent of all sales.
Ben Gordon, chief executive of Mothercare, said: “Iraq has 30 million people – clearly it’s a country with a lot of potential.
