Specialist hobby retailer ModelZone is set to enter administration.

Telegraph reported that the news emerged after retailers were due to pay rent for the next three months on Monday, the quarterly rent day. It also said Dwell, Internacionale and Ark were due to enter administration.

ToyNews has spoken to both ModelZone and Deloitte, and understands the latter could be appointed administrator shortly.

ModelZone had 46 stores when ToyNews interviewed the retailer's chief exec Martin Carr earlier this year.

More news as it happens.
