A new line of construction toys that light up, Lite Brix, will arrive in the UK next year.

The chairman of manufacturer Cra-Z-Art, Lawrence Rosen, told ToyNews the range has just launched exclusively with Toys R Us in the States.

The core concept behind the line is to allow kids to ‘build with lights’. Each set – including Robots, Helicopters, Race Cars, Space Shuttles and more – comes with a battery power pack that attaches to the models.

Arts, crafts and toy company Cra-Z-Art was founded by Rosen in 2008. It is based in Randolph, New Jersey, with factories in the US and China.

Larry Rosen said: “Children can now build bigger, brighter and better with Lite Brix. Children love to build with our Lite Brix sets. It combines traditional brick building constructions with the magic of lights.”
