K’NEX has revealed that sales are up 400 per cent in the UK, following a strong spring performance.
The firm invested in excess of 400 TVRs during the Easter period, and this TV advertising has been supported by a comprehensive kids press programme, underpinned by a year-long partnership with First News.
K’NEX is confident that its recent success will continue at this week’s Toymaster show.
“This week we’ll be showcasing K-Force, our brand new line of buildable, customisable blasters created to satisfy consumer demand after research revealed thousands of fans were already searching for K’NEX blasters," said Paul Fogarty, K’NEX UK managing director.
"We are confident that this range will be a key growth driver for us in the UK market.
“With its qualities of scale, movement and open-ended creativity, we believe K’NEX is uniquely placed to bring genuine innovation to the construction aisle during 2015. This year all new launches will be supported with kids press partnerships and online activity to increase awareness and drive request.”
Two other brand new K’NEX lines will also be showcased at Toymaster: K’NEX Mighty Makers with its aviation, horticulture and marine biology themed playsets and K’NEX Beasts Alive with dinosaur and dragon themed builds.
