Due to the success of its temporary shops over the last festive period, Hawkin’s chief Lyle Finlay is looking to secure the floor space for an extra 60 pop-up outlets early this year, Spring Fair reports.

Finlay said that the chain will "Double its portfolio over Christmas."

"We're very heavily skewed towards Christmas, more than any other retailer", he added.

Seeking primary locations with good footfall, the group will consider the best performing temporary shops as candidates to become permanent fixtures in 2012.
