Hamleys has opened a third Indian franchise store at the Infiniti mall in Mumbai.

The store, Hamleys’ second in Mumbai, has over 9,000 square-foot of floorspace.

Mukesh Kumar, VP, Infiniti mall, said: “Hamleys is known the world over as one of the best toymakers and toy retailers. Being a premium toy store, Hamleys has been very selective when it comes to their store location across the globe.

“We feel very proud that they have chosen Infiniti mall as the location for their second store in Mumbai and third store in India. We are confident that through Infiniti mall, Hamleys will be in a very strong position to reach out to its target consumers.”

Hamleys’ Indian franchise operation is handled by Reliance Brands limited. The pair's first venture was a 21,000 square foot store in Mumbai, opened in 2010.

Hamleys' recently redesigned Regent Street store is providing the inspiration for the retailer's worldwide franchise operation. Read more about that here.
