Forbidden Planet New York opens new store

The retailer transforms its customer experience and now has over 56,000 items on sale.

Forbidden Planet International has opened a new store on 832 Broadway, New York.

The retailer of pop culture toys, collectables, comics and other cult memorabilia has made the move after outgrowing its old New York residence at 840 Broadway.

The new store boasts over 3,400 square-foot of retail space and has over 56,000 products for sale.

Andy Oddie, managing director of Forbidden Planet International, said: “We have very big plans for this flagship store and intend to open additional outlets in the US in the near future.”

Rich Bendal, CEO, said: “We now have thousands more items for sale and a fantastic environment to provide the best in pop culture, fantasy merchandise and comics. This store will amaze fans and casual customers alike.”

“The customer experience has been completely transformed.”
