Toys R Us also had an impressive month, climbing 27 places to number four in the chart. Meanwhile, Hamleys slipped nine places to number 14.
Argos and Disney also fell down the table to numbers 21 and 24 respectively. Mothercare remained at the bottom of the chart, moving up just one place to number 48 and Amazon slipped one place to number 47.
The list of sites is created by The Retail Bulletin and specialist website testing company Sitemorse, that used its automated testing of the first 125 pages of each retailer’s site to generate a ranked table.
Lawrence Shaw, founder of Sitemorse, said: “We can see from the table that the average score of the top five, excepting DFS, has increased since last month. We hope this trend will continue right through to Christmas.”
