Demand for Jakks Pacific’s action sports product, MorfBoard is exceeding all forecasts and expectations across retailers Target and Amazon.
According to the firm behind the launch of the action sports ‘eco-system’ – one that transforms from skateboard to scooter, bouncer and more – MorfBoard has been met with significantly strong sales success.
“The positive reaction to this great product has us supplying even larger quantities than we originally expected to keep up with demand, and we are thrilled,” said Dan Westcott, executive vice president of seasonal division, Jakks Pacific.
The MorfBoard line was launched in January this year and allows kids the freedom to personalise their experiences by transforming the board’s function within a matter of seconds.
‘It provides kids a foray into what could otherwise be an intimidating and expensive world of action sports,’ read a statement from the firm.
MorfBoard Skate and Scoot combo introduced kids to easy lock and release technology, allowing them to transition from each modality with a click. The MorfBoard Balance Xtension will now feature a strong balance roller and safety end blocks that let kids teeter on the edge but not over it, bringing play to both indoor and outdoor.
Meanwhile, MorfBoard Bounce Xtension has been billed as the only set up that lets users strap in an get some air with two bounce balls powering the board.
