Canal Toys readies for UK distribution with Import Services

French toy company, Canal Toys has partnered with Import Services for retail distribution in the UK.

Canal Toys, founded in 1996 by CEO Patrick Krief, has grown significantly in recent years through the development of new IP and brands. The success of the firm has taken it global, with both US and Spanish arms to the business.

Among the popular Canal Toys portfolio is So Slime DIY, Only 4 Girls and Power Dough, with new brands planned for a 2018 launch.

Canal Toys, head of UK, Paul Clark, said: “We wanted to find a retail logistics partner with toy industry experience which could accommodate our rapidly growing business, distributing to the network of retailer customers in the UK.
