Busy Toymaster show hits 25

Toymaster retail show reaches 25 in rude good health, despite recent indie sector troubles.
Publish date:

With increased focus on it after the recent shake up in the independent retail sector, this year’s Toymaster show has seen suppliers reporting healthy orders and stand traffic.

The show has reached its landmark 25th anniversary this year, which will be celebrated at a gala evening tonight.

This year is also the first time that the show has been open to non-Toymaster members too, which has seen an increase in visitor numbers.

The demise of the Youngsters group has created a new influx of Toymaster members in the last month and the show has attracted a good deal of interest from indies pondering a move to the well-established buying group.

Early soundings from most of the exhibitors that ToyNews spoke to at the event reported an extremely busy first morning and expect the same again today (Wednesday).
