'Best-loved' digital brands revealed

Five online retailers with a toy offering are named in top 25 list; Very comes in second place.

A study by research company Tamar has revealed the UK's most popular digital brands.

Fashion retail website ASOS topped the list of 25, which also contained five retailers with a toy offering – Very, Play.com, I Want One of Those, Zavvi and Prezzybox.

Formerly Littlewoods Direct, Very.co.uk came second in the list of 25, with Play.com in third. Gifts and gadgets retailer I Want One Of Those and Zavvi.com came in 15th and 16th, respectively, with Prezzybox at 21.

Speaking about Very.co.uk, Tamar’s CEO Tanya Goodin said: "We would argue that Very has had to build up a distinct and new online user base by not using the Littlewoods brand online, and therefore has largely had to do the work of creating a new digital brand and should take the credit for that."
