Batman will be visiting Smyths Toys Superstore in Charlton's Peninsular Retail Park this Saturday, October 11th, to celebrate his 75th anniversary.

The caped crusade will be at the store from 10am to 4pm for a meet and greet and photo opportunities with young fans.

The first 50 children to arrive at the store dressed as Batman will get a free goody bag and will have the opportunity to have their picture taken in the Batcave via an in-store green screen when they make any Batman purchase.

Children will also be given the chance to build their best LEGO Batmobile to be in with a chance of winning a Batman prize bundle.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming Batman into Smyths Toys Superstores this weekend," said Rob Guckian, spokesman for Smyths Toys Superstores.

"Batman has been an incredible success story that has gone from strength to strength and never fails to bring the fun factor. We can’t wait to bring the Caped Crusader to life before our customer’s very eyes and invite everyone to join us in celebrating Batman’s anniversary.”
