Home retailer Argos has cut the price of a number of goods – including toys – as part of its ‘Celebrate 2012’ sale.

Consumers can save 60 per cent on several products, including the Radio Controlled 1:12 Nissan 370 car which is priced at £19.99, down from £49.99.

Other toys are half-price, including certain Nerf guns, Early Learning Centre and Chad Valley toys. The Disney Pixar Cars 2 Lights and Sounds Vehicle Assortment has dropped in price from £19.99 to £9.99, while the Beyblade Metal Fusion Battle Top pack is down from £15.99 to £9.99.

Argos has also slashed one third off of several toys, too, such as the Lego Star Wars The Battle of Naboo set, which has been cut from £25.99 to £15.99, while the Halo UNSC Elephant Vehicle is now £59.99, down from £99.99.

The retailer has launched a special sale catalogue to promote the products, which was inserted into certain newspapers last weekend. The full range of toys in the sale can also be viewed on the Argos website.
