Argos app hits 500,000 downloads

The retailer's new iPhone app has been downloaded half a million times in three weeks.

The new app, which allows customers to check availability of products in local stores and reserve them for collection, is part of a new ad campaign from the retailer.

Siobhan Fitzpatrick, head of Argos brand marketing, said: “The iPhone app formed an important strand within the first burst of our Find It. Get It. Argos It ad campaign.”
