Winning Moves has made another winning move, with the launch of a special edition Royal Wedding Top Trumps set.

The pack has been featured heavily on TV and across the media, with even TV stars Susannah Reid and Kate Garraway playing the game and avidly comparing Royal stats live on ITV1’s Good Morning Britain.

Top Trumps has for more than 40 years been a cool cult classic, capturing the heartbeat of the public across more than 1,000 different topics from Dr Who to Dinosaurs and Harry Potter to Pop Stars. Now in its latest launch former TV star herself turned Royal, Meghan Markle comes out top, trumping her new Royal relatives across the majority of the game’s categories.

“We’ve only just launched the pack and already we are re-printing. It’s proving a sell-out,” said Tom Liddell, Top Trumps brand guardian and MD of Winning Moves UK.

The new Royal Wedding Top Trumps pack has five categories: ‘VIP’ ; ‘Age’ ; ‘People Person’ ; ‘Style Icon’ and ‘Big Day Rating’. Meghan Markle wins outright in Style, is joint winner with Prince Harry in the Big Day billing category and ties with Princess Diana in the ‘people with that common touch’ section.

The Queen comes out top in the VIP bracket. And in the age section it is St George’s Chapel where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed on Saturday that is top of the pack.

The pack also sees a special ‘Commoners’ card in celebration of the 2,640 ordinary folk invited to the wedding. There is also a Corgi card amongst the 30 in the pack along with ones of Sir Elton John and The Spice Girls who are tipped to be performing at the Royal bash this weekend.

The official Top Trumps Royal Wedding Limited Edition is available on Amazon through Booghe, RRP: £6.99.
