Playmobil details new ranges revealed at London Toy Fair

Playmobil has detailed its new slate of launches of over 300 new products, after their reveals at London Toy Fair 2018.

Staying true to the brand's ethos, through its new ranges, the firm will continue to encourage children to get lost in their imagination during playtime with the new products launching throughout the UK and Ireland.

Highlights of Playmobil's slate include the following sets.

The Aquarium range is aimed for children aged four plus and features several sets including, the Aquarium, Aquarium Shop, Penguin Enclosure and Aquarium Enclosure. The toy line will bring the scenes to life with six additional animal packs, including Sea Turtle with Babies and Seal with Pups, which float when in water, and Octopus with Baby, which changes colour when submerged in water. This set is available in January.

The new Horse Farm range features nine sets, from Horse Farm to Horse Show, through to Horse Transporter, with a detachable roof, opening rear doors and a fold-out lamp. This range will be complemented by a new free app available at the App Store or Google Play and by a further four new Horse Professionals packs. This set is available in March.

The new Fairies range available for children aged four and above will bring a touch of magic and sparkle to their playtime. With unicorns, fairies and dragons aplenty, this new range is sure to be a big hit within the magical and mystical toy craze. Available April.

2018 will also see the expansion of the popular 1.2.3 range launching in March, suitable for children aged 18 month plus. This spring there will be the arrival of a new Pirate Ship, which floats on the water and features a water shooting canon. Also new to the popular range is the Pirate Island with a treasure cave and spaces in which to place sea creatures. The Take Along range is growing with the new Take Along Market Stall. There will be further additions to the range, including a limited edition Tow Truck with Race Car and new Girl with Dino Egg.

Take a journey to a land beyond in June our own with The Explorers range, new for 2018. With dinosaurs, a hidden temple, airboat and helicopter this new range, suitable for children aged six and above is set to be a big hit this year.

New additions to the Favourites range, as well as the Wedding Limo Set will also be launching in 2018.
