The Good Toy Guide has revealed the first location to become a registered testing venue.

Fusion Childcare Services in Hertfordshire has also been helping with the pilot testing phase.

In its recent Ofsted evaluation, the breakfast and afterschool clubs were rated Outstanding. The partnership with the Good Toy Guide was cited as a contributing factor in the report.

Amanda Gummer, director of the Good Toy Guide, said: "It's a great achievement for Tracy and her team at Fusion. The emphasis on child-initiated play and learning means that the toys are played with naturally and we can realy see how children interact with them.

"We are sure this evaluation will be of real benefit to the manufacturers."
