Magic Box makes move from collectables to toys and play-sets with SuperZings Series Two

Magic Box Toys has made the move from collectables to play-sets and toys with the launch of SuperZings Series Two.

In the biggest move for the collectable range, premium play-sets will now feature in the collection, offering children added play value and the chance to create their own SuperZings world.

Among the play-set range is The Secret Lab, retailing at £20, featuring a secret compartment, lift to the roof and an exclusive character with a blaster. Also sitting at the £20 price point is the Kaboom Race, complete with two vehicles, launch pad, barrels and a finish line for a racing play-set.

The hero toy of the range is the Police Station play-set, retailing at £25, which includes a police car, jail, cannon and a number of interactive elements.

Of course, Magic Box will continue to do what it does so well and supply the collectables demand with 80 new multi-coloured characters to collect in series two, while SuperZings vehicles get a refresh in the form of a range of SuperJets – motorbike, boat, helicopter and quad.

Also in the range are a £7 Blister Pack containing a crystal SuperBlaster, a £10 Blister Pack of ten characters including a rare gold SuperZing and a Cyber Tin – a special range of SuperZings all with a cyber theme.

SuperZings Series Two – hitting shelves this August 29, will be supported by a significant launch marketing campaign including TV, digital, social, unboxings, PR and webisodes to introduce the characters and their rivals as well as the full product range.

Ben Harper of Magic Box Toys, said: “We are really excited about the second series of SuperZings. We have not only worked hard on new characters and product design, but we now have a core toy offering which will expand our distribution network.

“We have seen huge success with Series One and we are confident children will absolutely love what we are launching for the second series.”
