Le Toy Van has scooped a win in the European Design Awards for its popular wooden Popcorn Machine.

The product and its lead designer, Le Toy Van’s marketing and product development manager, Marie Bureau, took home the win in the Toy Design category.

It follows a successful product launch for the firm at this year’s Toy Fair and a recent ‘Recommended’ seal of approval by Fundamentally Children.

“We are delighted to have won the European Design Award in the Toy Design category,” Bureau told ToyNews. “After a tremendous launch at the toy fairs, we have also received the Recommended seal of approval by Fundamentally Children.

“This project is unique, exclusive to our Honeybake Collection and brand new to the wooden toys market. It is the result of two years of research and development, an amazing team work and our eternal passion for product design Le Toy Van is known for. Congratulations to everyone involved.”
