Publish date:

Krainkn is a new sport which combines skateboarding and snowboarding.

Its creator Kevin Rains (pictured) says its for begininers intermediate and even ‘extreme boarders’ and has launched a campaign to get funding for the project on crowdsourcing website Kickstarter. The project must attract $15,000 worth of pledges from web users by September 27th. Rains will use the money to manufacture and market the boards.

The handles will be sold as seperates or as part of a complete package.

The handles aim to make learning to skateboard much easier, as well as allowing people to perform different stunts and tricks than you can on a conventional skateboard. Check out the video below.

Rains got the idea for Krainkn when he saw a middle aged couple struggling to skateboard. He realised that the addition of handles could make things much easier for bew boarders.
