The Good Toy Guide has been chosen to support the Ideal Home Show at Christmas this year, running the event's brand new Play Zone.

From Wednesday, November 13th to Sunday, November 17th the team will be hosting the new demo area in the centre of the new Toy Village at the lifestyle event in Earls Court.

The Zone will encourage kids to play with a range of toys from the Good Toy Guide, while parents will be able to talk to the team of toy experts about toys, play and child development.

Good Toy Guide's Dr Amanda Gummer, told ToyNews: "The Toy Village is a new concept for the Ideal Home Show at Christmas and we're proud to have been chosen to support it by running the Play Zone for them.

"We are really excited about the Play Zone. We have got lots of fun things planned of the area to get everyone into the Christmas spirit."

The new Toy Village will play host to a selection of toy stands for visitors to get their christmas lists sorted, including a Good Toy Guide where the demonstrated toys will be on sale.

"There will be a great mixture of toys and games available including DidiCar, Linkee, the new Kurio, Gibsons Ltd Edition puzzle and family games, Character's new Cra-z-Loom and Hama Beads Christmas set, as well as the new to market Play Away case and many more," added Gummer.

As the show approaches, Dr Gummer is reminding companies that it's not too late to get their products tested to join the stand.

She said: "It's getting tight for companies to get products tested in time for the show, but those products that are already in the guide can join in and be part of the play zone and GTG retail stand."
