Since its launch in September 2012, The Good Toy Guide has notched up almost £1 million in PR coverage value.
The staggering figure takes into account coverage gained from both print and online media up until the end of January 2013.
During this time, a wide mix of national and local press, trade media, online and parent press have written about the arrival of the Guide and how it’s rating toys.
These include The Sunday Telegraph, Mother & Baby, The Daily Mail, The Times, Practical Parenting & Pregnancy, Mumsnet, The Scotsman and, of course, official trade media partner ToyNews.
“I’m thrilled that we’re striking such a chord with the media – it’s great for the companies that are in the Guide to know that the message is really getting out there,” Dr Amanda Gummer from The Good Toy
Guide told ToyNews.
“We’re not resting on our laurels though and are maintaining our proactive social media and PR campaigns to make sure that parents are able to buy with confidence and understand how different toys benefit their children’s development.”
