Women in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment is hosting a morning of networking at jigsaw maker Gibson’s offices next week.

The UK chapter is inviting the industry to coffee, cake and making connections at the Surrey headquarters, where Gibson's is gearing up for its centenary celebrations next year.

The puzzle specialist is run by its first female MD, Kate Gibson, supported by Nicki Gumbrell as sales director. The pair join WIT in hosting the morning on Tuesday, July 10 from 10am to 12pm.

“We are excited to be holding our summer get together at Gibson’s Games, bringing together a wide variety of people from the toy and licensing industry to learn from one of the oldest games and puzzles companies in the UK, especially now as it’s one of the few toy companies with a strong female leadership team,” said WIT’s Trudi Bishop.

“Women in Toys UK welcomes people from the toy and licensing industries, men and women. We aim to empower people in the industry and share knowledge and ideas to help each other grow.”
