Sally Walker named GM at Interplay as firm reports business growth of 50 per cent for 2017

Former Leap Frog MD, Sally Walker has been named the new general manager for Interplay as the firm celebrates 'another year of growth through 2017.'

Despite what has been billed as a 'challenging commercial year for the toy industry,' Interplay has seen business increase by over 50 per cent, having struck success with its popular My Fairy Garden and Fab Lab lines.

As it looks to continue its success into 2018, Interplay has named Sally Walker as the firm's new GM, who, having held senior leadership roles at the likes of Leap Frog and Tomy, brings new business experience to the team.

The evolution of the firm's executive line-up also sees Ross Ainsworth take up the role of CEO.

Walker said: "I feel very lucky to be joining the great team here at Interplay. There is something very special about the brands, the products and the people.

"The achievements and performance of the business, particularly over the last few years, are real proof of this and I am excited to be part of the team building an even stronger future."
