Quality Assurance Engineer

You'll implement all necessary measures to ensure the products we sell are safe, legal and fit for their intended purpose. Monitoring the quality of performance of existing products, you'll propose and pursue remedial actions with suppliers. You'll conduct formal appraisals of new products under consideration, overseeing follow-up activity. You will be travelling overseas and in the UK to carry out supplier appraisals and support the trading team, you'll introduce new ideas to improve returns levels, including bespoke tactics/strategies for specific suppliers, ranges and sections and the deployment of Reasons for Returns information.
You'll be an accomplished auditor of suppliers' quality, manufacturing and safety systems, preferably qualified to Lead Assessor status. With a sound technical background in the toys or nursery industry, you'll have in-depth knowledge of quality disciplines and procedures, plus the commercial sense to apply QM practices in a retail environment. A persuasive communicator in person and in writing, you'll have good analytical abilities and judgement, along with the PC skills to develop reports. You must also be comfortable travelling extensively and should hold a full driving licence.

Experienced Sales Manager
Rubie's is the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of dress-up costumes and accessories for all ages. Established in the USA over 55 years ago, Rubie's companies now operate across the world and are proud to work with major licensing partners such as Lucasfilm, Warner Bros, Disney and Dreamworks.
An experience Sales Manager is required to be responsible for the company's sales in EMEA territories where Rubie's currently has no established infrastructure, specifically, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East and South Africa.
The position is based in the UK, reporting to the UK managing director and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful sales in the relevant territories, preferably with recognised toy or gift industry brands. A competitive package is available for the right person.

National Accounts Manager
Up to 50K + benefits
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing major grocery accounts including Asda, Tesco and Marks and Spencer. Existing relationships with these customers would be preferred, as would experience in toys/sports industries. Previous experience as a NAM is essential.
Up to 40K + benefits
This is a varied role where you will be involved in product concepts, sourcing new products and working closely with the marketing team to ensure products successfully go to market. Experience of dealing with Far East manufacturers is key for this role.
