Learning Resources boosts sales team division with new member

Elizabeth Nield is joining the company as sales business development manager for the UK.

Learning Resources is expanding its retail division with the addition of Elizabeth Nield joining the company.

Taking on the role of sales business development manager for the UK, Nield brings over 20 years of experience in the toy industry to the position.

Previously, Nield looked after sales at Brio, Breyer Horses, Geomag and Orb Factory Sticky Mosaics.

She also worked exclusively in negotiating toy licensing for the likes of Mattel Paris, Disney UK and Warner Bros in the US.

Dennis Blackmore, MD of Learning Resources, said: “Elizabeth has the perfect combination of experience and enthusiasm to help us grow sales and brand awareness in the UK retail market.

“With so much current interest in the value of hands-on educational play, we are confident that our unique ranges will perform well for UK retailers.”

In her new position, Nield will help develop the company’s retail strategy, working with major UK retail prospects to help achieve Learning Resources’ growth plans.

Nield added: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Learning Resources. I am really looking forward to joining a great enthusiastic team developing the retail toy sector.”
