HTI appoints new global licensing director

Independent toy manufacturer and distributor HTI has announced the appointment of Alison Downie as global licensing director.

Downie brings a wealth of experience in the children’s toy market gained from over 30 years in the industry. She joins HTI from Golden Bear where she headed up the product development function and managed the licensing role for the company.

In her new role at HTI, Downie will be responsible for identifying, developing and negotiating new license opportunities for the company on a global level as well as managing existing licensing business relationships.
